I Hold My Breath - The Final Fitting - Carlo Riva Bespoke Shirts

A limited edition tartan that we picked up on our last trip to the factory that produces Carlo Riva cotton. So far we've had nothing but happy customers with this fabric.

The most difficult thing for a shirt maker (or since I don't physically make the shirts, I should perhaps call myself a shirt providore) is the final fitting and delivery. The customer is always most picky at these last moments and when you are delivering to them 4 Carlo Riva shirts which they paid top dollar for, you can imagine that they want everything to be right - and deservedly. This morning our customer came through and tried on his shirts. He had a long torso and was finding that the previous shirts we cut weren't long enough. With bated breath I waited for the final verdict and when it came back with a thumbs up, elated, I hung them on our new coat hangers. All Carlo Riva shirts made by us now come with an LNP wide wooden hanger because we feel it warrants that kind of place in your wardrobe.
